Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5-0 Surf / Sea State: decent waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Rain! Max Speed: Distance Covered:
managed an hour between two big squalls. It died when i arrived at
shoreham, 10 windsurfers were loitering on the beach with one guy out
wallowing. Lots of others were trudging back from way down the beach. I
waited. then it filled in slowly with the clear skies. Stuck on the 5.3m
and was well overpowered, but at least I was moving and had plenty of oomph
on the inside for down the line turns. Then at 3:45pm it just dropped to
nil in front of the next big grey cloud. Suddenly my big 5.3m was the sail
of choice, although there was so little wind that I could just sink and
wobble slowly towards the beach, while others were left swimming. with 20m
to go it was down and out for me and finally swept up the beach with the
shorebreak. An undignified end to a cracking little session.
